Sounds like fun. So it's a mix of Gladiator and Gamer?

Congrats on breaking in, but I must say I'm skeptical given the poor quality of recent movies along similar lines, such as the recent "Fighting" with Channing Tatum or "Unleashed" with Jet Li. I predict it will be hard for the movie to avoid descending into cliche. "Fighting" in particular already featured the plotline of a (decent at heart) drifter who gets sucked into the world of underground fighting.

Already I see a huge plot problem: if this ring features fights to the death, then how does this 'David Lord' manage to stick around? If Radu is really as capitalistic as Vince McMahon, if not more so, surely he'd think nothing of replacing a man reluctant to kill with someone who would have no such qualms. Even if he's a really good fighter, I guarantee there are many more equally good fighters out there who would kill. It's really a lazy plot if you ask me.
