Thought it was interesting but none of the characters have me "hooked" like The Wire did. It was the first episode so I wasn't expecting that yet.

One struggle I think they may have is that the hook is a little loose. The Wire was based on wire taps and it used that hook to bring in the numerous subplots of the city of Baltimore. I'm not sure "After Katrina" is a strong enough premise to replicate this.

I'll give it at least 5 episodes to bring me in. I give anything from HBO at least 5 (even "John From Cincinnati)
