Rebellious teenage girl left home alone by her strict in-resident parents, tricks her way into the dorm's Secret Party of the Year by posing as a college student. But if the authorities find out a minor is at the party, college students will get expelled.

Teenage girl eventually realizes the value of waiting to grow up (and also how utterly immature college students could be).

Miley Cyrus to star. Throw in someone from "Twilight" or "Glee" for college students. John C. Reilly as the dad, Lisa Kudrow is the mom.

Seth Rogan is the head of the campus police.

A young teenage girl living on a university campus with her dorm adviser/counselor parents gets exposed to a lot. With her parents still unable to kick their college mindsets, she has to be a voice or reason for several unique characters. She could very well be the first college dropout still in high school.

Title: "Growing Up Too Fast"

A wild teenager sneaks off to Florida for Spring Break with her rowdy college buddies. Her parents, who are too busy with work and contemplating a divorce, discover that she is missing and set off on a road trip to find her. The trip brings the parents back together romantically.

The P is 14 and has already spent a couple of years having virtually no friends except college students who think of her as their little sister. Then a prodigy arrives. He's also 14, but he's there to work on his masters in Physics. He's gone through a similar no-friends life. Now they're the only two 14 year olds on campus and they both realize they must get along. High jinks ensue!

I had a similar idea about a 15-year-old girl taking classes at the local prestigious university. The show will show her stuck in the middle between the folks from her poor to working class town and wealthier, more educated kids that attend the university.

Anyway, this has sitcom written all over it.

I'd go for something like "The Blues Brothers meets The Freshman."

After publishing a little known paper, her father comes to the attention of some group of crazies seeking the elixer of eternal life. To get him to cough up, they attempt to kidnap the daughter - but they are so bad at it that everyone thinks it's just more on campus tomfoolery. Home Alone meets Animal House with a bit of Along Came a Spider intrigue...

Alternative plot: The touching true story of two 16 year old girls who pretend to be college students during freshman orientation. One falls for college guy, and the girls come up with an elaborate plot to maintain their college facade. Definite Animal House elements involved, many hijinks (of course) etc etc.

But yes, the reality of it was exactly what you are imagining it was. Best years of my life.
