#10 = perfect.

Good post--things like this always remind me that even though we're stuck in solitary, we're all stuck in it together.

The one about carrying a notebook--I've seen that other places. It's always struck me as somewhat obsessive...as if I fail to write down or remember an idea I'll never have another good one.

Of course, I've furiously written down ideas pertaining to a story I'm writing or otherwise working on while at the traffic light or at the doctor's.

I'm constantly on alert for interesting things-- I see dozens of things during the day. It would exhaust me to write them all down. Most of the time I think about them or talk to someone about it and then tuck it away figuring that it all goes into that stew I call my brain.

Ideas that resonate with me--that I think will make a good story-- I remember and catalog in a folder on my computer.
