Chilling movie. It's amazing how many people I know have had the shared experience of seeing that movie on TV as a kid while their parents were out. Brilliant stuff.

The fact that the psycho actually killed the children upped the stakes and made the movie all the more frightening and believable. I knew they'd chicken out on that in the remake.
