It's too bad the pilot script is way too forced and not that funny.

I assume they're losing the dirty words for network TV. Part of the fun of this twitter is the profanity.

Here's one of my favorites:

"No presents goddamit. I'm turning 74. I don't need you to commemorate that with a fucking Barnes and Noble gift card."

You know, I moved back in with my parents last May and a month later had a book deal. The two events weren't really related, but it does make one wonder. Of course, my book deal wasn't quite lucrative to move out of my parents' house. Sigh.

Looking after your folks is the NUMBER ONE priority in your life so it's not a defeat if you moved back in.

An amazing world we live in when an unfunny Twitter feed with a fabricated story around it gets so much traction.

I think it says volumes about what sells, and how to sell it these days.
