Boy don't you folks take the cake...

I was raised in a relatively oppressive conservative Jewish household so I was trained early on that praise and congratulations should make one instantly uncomfortable...

Even worse, I'm from the midwest, surrounded by Lutherans who do a mean fish fry but are also quick to point out that life is many things but certainly nothing to be enjoyed, per se.

I've always identified with Garrison Keillor's quote, "If you do feel content or happy, don't worry, this too shall pass."

But I'm getting over all that.

I've been rather joyful these past few months. I've been enjoying, perhaps even LOVING, my work, all things writing-related, scriptwriting most of all.

The Gits Club board has especially given me reason for good cheer and hope. As I've said before, you folks are a HUGE inspiration to me, mostly because you're all so DAMN GOOD at what you do.

Please know that your good wishes are all appreciated so very much. I know for a fact that my meager little success will pale in comparison to what some of my fellow GITS CLUBBERS will achieve in the coming days. There's WAYYYY too much raw talent on that board for it to go unnoticed.
