I LOVE people with style. And Billy Mernit has droves of it. He has one of the best looking and organized blogs in the world. People should visit it JUST so maybe some of his style will rub off on them, and their own blogs will improve (one can always hope) AND Billy has an extensive achives section too -- to catch up on the Billy-isms you've missed.

Totally unrelated to this post. I've thought about blogging about the subtleties of successful comedy but have nowhere near enough experience to discuss it. IMHO, many aspiring screenwriters think that going overboard is comedy when true comedy is much more subtle.

Maybe someday I'll try to tackle a blog on the subject. After my last script, comedy seems like a difficult task for a screenwriter. The same elements as other genre are there, but it is also supposed to be funny.
