Does anyone here verbalize there first draft before writing it? Possibly record it onto a handheld digital recorded?

Kinda like a Verbal Index Card System...

If so...how has it worked for you?

I think I hover between the two concepts. As I get into more scripts, I sometimes fluctuate between "free-form writing" and pure "outline based writing."

I find that I'm more comfortable setting up my scenes first because I can go through the movie from the end to the beginning - yes it's reverse because I always know the ending I want.

It's setting up the scenes so they reach it that counts.

Christian: I seem to hover between free-form and outline too. Neither one has clicked for me yet.
