Wow Scott... I posted this link up on the Club this morning. We're tag teaming and bombarding these people!

On a personal note, the one that's always baffled me (and probably kept me from actually going about making notecards for my projects) is #3. (I'm a terminal outliner...)

I don't know about anyone else but when I'm composing a film, it's like a house of cards... take one thing out and the rest kinda' tumbles down. I don't see the need nor the purpose for "re-arranging" scenes (unless, perhaps, you're doing an out-of-sequence thing a la Pulp Fiction?).

Anyway, if you could, at some point expound on that one, it would pretty much unlock one of the great mysteries of screenwriting lore for me... and hopefully others.

I use a digital note cards — well, actually Post-it digital notes. You can get the software on line for around $20. This has the added benefit of taking your note cards with you.

Keep Writing!

I started to write a screenplay kind of like Memento, then I realized my cards were in reverse order.

Tried it and hated it.

I want to use a keyboard. I want to have my notes with me any time.

I use a mindmapping program. To me it is the perfect tool. But the program need to be every easy to use and do what I need without fuss. Mine does.
