Love those beginning shots, it can be tough to shoot outside at night--what camera did you use?

It was a tough shoot mainly because I was pushing for some level of authenticity. I was a stickler for real locations and those opening shots were in the Bronx without permits at that particular location. Can't believe we got away with it.

The same goes for the hotel scenes. That was an actually hotel used for prostitution. The whole shoot was in the middle of the summer and the air was thick. It added a certain level of discomfort and angst which I think reads well on the actors faces.
