Thanks for the video, Scott. Listend to it for 20+ minutes, up to the Q & A session.

I remember going to a Screenwriting Expo Event a couple of years ago and watching Nicholas Meyer eat at a table next to me. NEVER talked to the guys.

Nicholas sounds EXTREAMLY smart. Very articulate, precise. Dry witt, and kinda probie.

I've heard Nicholas Meyer is a reknown script doctor too.

I'll bet Nicholas Meyer would make a GREAT mentor for up-and-coming screenwriters and directors. This guy is a treasure chest of wisdom and knowledge. Will definately be looking for his memoir, thanks for the post!

He's a University of Iowa grad, on the theatre hall of fame, and in fact gives a scholarship to writer/actors that I got part of during my first year there, if memory serves ...

Nick is a GREAT writer. What he did with Trek 2 was phenomenal.
Nick worked nTomorrow Never Dies and yes, he does script doctor work, but he's so much better than that.

Good stuff from Nicholas Meyer, aka the director of the Star Treks that Fail to Suck: The Even Numbers.
