And what's with "Ghosts of Girlfriend's Past" NOT being on that list?! Matthew McConaughey, Jennifer Garner, AND Michael Douglas -- and you came up with that! Also "The Invention of Lying" had a pretty solid cast, and wasn't very funny or romantic either.
Bad year for the overall quality of stories in movies in general. My own personall biggest disappointment of 2009 was "Terminator: Salvation." Especially since it's first third started out so well...
