I hate Rom-Coms but that "When in Rome" is a great concept.

I can't wait to see Daybreakers.

There always seems to be a lot of comedies made, but it was nice to still see a couple dramas here and there.

It's like the same five people just keep a rotating line of movie roles.

@Emily Blake: You ain't seen nothin'! After you go through all the movies coming out in 2010, it will seem like Cameron Diaz, Ben Stiller, and Anne Hathaway are in every other movie.

The Spy Next Door, Dear John, The Crazies, and Letters to God all sound very formulaic and unoriginal. I think we've all seen those plots done and re-done. Hopefully, they bring something new and fresh to the table. If not, they're probably going to learn exactly how movies crash and burn.

Shutter Island -- definitely going to be a barn burner. Loads of potential in any DiCaprio movies. And the trailer looks exciting.

Remember Me -- originally titled, "Memoirs." Read this about a month ago and I loved it. In my top 3 screenplays... Very well-written. Lovable, relatable characters. Loads of potential for an actor to explore their role. I don't know how I feel about them casting Mr. Vampire in the lead, but I'm hoping he carries his weight. Because this movie could be nominated for best original screenplay. It's that good.

Daybreakers -- sounds like an original take on an old idea. Good for them.

Book of Eli -- read this halfway through a while back. Superbly written. Great idea. Hope people will still come out of the woodworks for Denzel. This should be a helluva ride.



Other than that... way too many safe moves... Family Comedies, Fantasies, Thrillers, and Teen Comedies.... that's really all there is. And if there's a Drama, it's just an adaptation of a popular book. Where are all the ORIGINAL ideas?? "Remember Me" pretty much stands alone.

Oh! And what's up with "Green Zone?!" Did they just run out of clever variations on the Bourne name? Perhaps they forgot the ending...

Green Zone: Bourne AGAIN!!

Tagline: Matt Damon just loves shooting guns!!

But in all honesty... poor choice by Damon and his people. He hit homeruns with every Bourne movie... And did a nice 180 with The Informant... and now he's back in the same freaking role under a different name?! Just a poor, poor acting choice. How bout another Good Will Hunting?! Is it so much ask for a good actor to allow his acting skills to do the talking? Instead of gunfire and quick cuts covering up any and all mistakes?

Phew... Just had to point that out.
