I've always loved Terry Gilliam movies, just a fun uniqueness to them. Fantasy/science/symbolism/hilarity all balled into one. But then he can turn around and make a movie like twelve monkeys.

And Monty Python is what started it all.

That's a cool story.
Gilliam is probably one of my favorite directors. I mean Brazil is for sure in my top 10 movies of all time and Fisher King is just a great movie, human, heartfelt and magical.
That's so sad that nobody in Hollywood dares to give him the chances to make the movie that he wants anymore.
Anyway, looking forward to watch his latest film with the late Heath Ledger.

Thanks for this.

Gilliam is one of the few directors I enjoy hearing talk about his films. His insights and anecdotes are always fascinating (and sometimes cautionary).
