I'm new to screenwriting and this clip has made me wonder:

In your opinion, do you think, careerwise, that it would be better for a beginning writer to stick to a certain genre? I'm not interested in the supernatural, and am not so drawn to action, but am wondering if I should be diversifying, or sticking to what I enjoy writing most, which seems to be rom-coms and coming of age stuff.

Am I cutting myself short?
