I may be in the minority on this but I think that the book, no matter how beloved, would only make a good short.

I really hope this lives up to all the hype, it would be a tragedy for the book if it doesn’t.

Fortunately, from all I’ve read, it seems like Spike Jonze and Dave Eggers have tried as much as possible to stay true to the story.

As far as it’s length, I remember when I was five or six and my grandmother was reading the book to me, wondering about all of the other adventures Max could have taken before going home.

I’m looking forward to it.

Am I the only one who's not at all interested in this? I think I liked the book as a child, but I'm so not compelled to want to see it on the screen...

Still, I wish it success.

If only they could get around to having Eggers' "Heartbreaking Work" produced. That was easily one of the best books of the last decade.
