I rather liked this film. It took a couple of viewings, mostly to allow Clooney some dramatic cred. But it's an interesting, thematic scifi film.

I'm curious to know how it measures up against the Tarkovsky original -- I had tried to watch it (available at that time on 3 whopping VHS tapes), but was bored to death.
