DEXTER, definitely. I find Dexter a lot more interesting, and conflicted, and fun to watch. Hank Moody is just immature and quite predictable... just kind of a lackluster jerk, really.
And as for jumping the shark... nope. I'm sure the writers will find new things for Dexter to struggle with. They've been doing an amazing job giving Dexter problem after problem to deal with, and yet resolving them in a very satisfying and suspenseful way. I think having the original material to use ideas from is a great thing for the show and keeps it good.

Dexter, because it's my favorite show (tied with Lost). I saw the premiere ep a few weeks back and thought it was great--definitely no jump-the-shark moments with the baby, but rather a natural progression of Dexter's family life.

I'm also really looking forward to Californication, which I absolutely love. I caught screeners of the premiere and second up a week ago. They were absolutely hysterical. Season three is looking like it will be even better than the first two.

I'm scared... Dexter's baby looks almost exactly like my 9 month old son...

Dexter...in the book one of kids turns out to be evil like dexter. I have a feeling we are going to go there very soon, so this show will never jump the shark

btw...hank moody is predictable, but so are a lot of people we all know in real life. I find it an interesting character study watching all the characters interact under circumstance we wouldnt get to experience in real life (outside LA)

Californication. It's my guilty pleasure, because even though the writing is piss poor, I can't resist the 'bad boy writer character' Duchovny has down so well.
