Would of wiped it with my ass first, then thrown it out.

I was in a screenwriting workshop, and one woman talked about how she and her writing partner went around the hotel where a film festival was taking place and left copies of their screenplays in random places with notes written like, "Call me about this. Spielberg is interesting."

I couldn't help but think about how stupid that sounded.

Julie's genious. Thanks for that.

And to answer your question, Scott; no, I have never seen anyone purposely network THAT bad.

Worst behavior I ever witnessed first hand came via a Screenwriting Expo panel Michael Lent was hosting at 10 a.m. session, October 21, 2006.
I sat one row behind a guy who blew his nose into his shirt while Michael Lent was in mid-lecture. The same guy was making noices all through Michael's lecture too. I felt bad for Michael Lent. The odd fellow in front of me came across as a total burn-out; no longer caring what anybody thought, and was TRYING to be disruptive.

Maybe I'm wrong about this, but I feel like other writers are the worst people to network with. They're typically ruthless, jealous hyenas who would swoop on your contacts at the first whiff of opportunity.

Has anybody tried moping around outside the studio with a script looking really sad?

It was original with the bathroom stall, but hey! That was quite beyond limits. What's next? Bungyjump from a helicopter dropping the script in the agent's lap?
