They gotta be mutating, right?

I'm just curious how "the flying car" isn't just a small airplane. You know, I read a thing the other day about a company that's sort of like Uber for planes, it's a small aircraft, about seven people, a subscription service that's much quicker and cheaper than regular flights for someone who flies a lot. I think there's been a couple services in that vein, since smaller aircraft have different FAA standards and rules. What if the new neighbour worked on a project like that? It's sort of the opposite of what our guy wants, he's holding onto that dream of freedom, the open road, the open sky, owning your own flying car. The old dreams. Meanwhile she represents the new thinking, the sharing of and smarter utilization of limited resources. You could get a lot of tension there.
