I love that George Clooney is telling Ewan McGregor about being a Jedi spy.

This was one of the best books I read last year, a skeptic's masterpiece about how seemingly innocent, sometimes amusing beliefs in unfounded pseudoscience can result in tragedy on a horrifying, massive scale. The book delves into a program whose architects used their unwavering support of quackery to ends that resulted in the tortures committed at Gitmo and Abu Ghraib, as well as the mass suicide of the Heaven's Gate cult.

And yet it was adapted into a wacky adventure involving a psychic general and the typical skeptic-dope whose stubborn closed-mindedness (which I'm sure they'll use as the catalyst for the divorce angle not present in the book) results in an odd couple pairing. No wonder Ronson washed his hands of this.

But there is something pretty damn funny about people hurting themselves as they try to run through walls.
