Interesting! I have a tangently related anecdote, when I was a kid my family moved to Italy, and we lived in this big villa that was rented out in portions, and we lived in the converted barn down by the pool. It was a cute house but trapped in the 70s.
One day, my sister goes outside to the pool, then comes right back in and says "there's some guy sitting at our pool." So my parents go out to talk to him. It turns out he was staying in one of the villa portions while filming a movie. My parents kind of knew who he was, but we kids didn't because it would still be about 15 years before he became one of the most recognizable superheroes on the planet. I can't imagine how kid me would have reacted to "Iron Man's in the back yard!" but it's always been in the back of my head. I could see it being a thing where it's a real super hero, maybe a call-back to those movies like Suburban Commando that mixes genre fantasy with family suburban comedy, you know?
The other idea that comes to me is a twist on your idea, what if it's the regular family that has to move in with the rock star? Because of Axl Rose I can see it being a heavy metal dude, but I could see an African American family a la Blackish moving in with a famously seedy Snoop Doggy Ghostface Killa type, that could lead to interesting areas to explore that I'm not qualified to write about.
