the only good thing about this stupid remake is Alexander Skarsgard, who is worth watching. *swoon*

I'm not enthused about this remake to say the least, but I think it's actually a rather interesting choice to make him a screenwriter. Back in the day I remember a friend who didn't like Tarantino saying they wished they could see Tarantino experience violence like the violence in his films, and see how and if he could deal with it. Not a bad conceit for a movie, so I'll be interested to see if that's what Lurie's doing. Mind you, still not enough to justify a STRAW DOGS remake...
