I'm excited about this particular challenge for several reasons. First, instead of November, which was catch as catch can and willy nilly, a last minute thing, we've had time to prepare for this one. Some plans to help make the experience for participants a more fun and endurable one. I'm also interested to see what the response is. I honestly believe the path of least resistance to breaking into the business is to write at least 2 spec scripts per year. That's why I've scheduled a ZDT Challenge in March and September 2016. If this takes root, we'll continue to hold them twice a year to support writers maximizing their productivity. On a personal level, I'm hoping to make big progress on this rewrite, and am taking a different approach: Passes on individual characters, something I've done in the past, but not recently. Hopefully that will unlock some of the potential I know is there, but has yet to reveal itself to me. I encourage GITS readers to join in!
