Walking Dead is an incredible series. Much more character based than what you normally get in the genre. I'm excited to see how it turns out.

There is nothing like a good zombie movie, they're not the biggest box office draw, but boy are they fun, even the extra cheesy ones.

Walking Dead is a great comic book series.

Not sure how people will take to it, though. It starts very, very similar to another well known zombie flick that came out recently. Total coincidence, though.

Hope people can get past that. Because Walking Dead is all about the characters and the world. It's incredibly engrossing.

Zombies are the best thing ever. I just hope we don't overdose on them the way we seem to be overdosing on Twilight clones. At least not until after I've sold my zombie script, anyway.

Have to admit, I don't get the whole zombie thing. They don't do a thing for me. Don't find them interesting, or scary, or romantic, etc...

I actually came up with a couple of zombie concepts a while back, and then thought, wait a minute... I can't stand fucking zombies! So I chucked the ideas.

Sorry Emily! :-)

I loved the movie Fido. It totally took zombies out of the horror film scenario. And obviously Shaun of the Dead brought in a great comedy aspect. I would love to watch more movies like those. Most of the random zombie movies I've seen tend to feel too forced. Forced suspense. Forced humor.

Here's was an interesting little article from LA WEEKLY on zombies in hollywood, and they had a little section on a screenwriter's take on the current 'zombie craze' and his current successes.

Love Walking Dead. That being said, I can't explain it, but I have a deep rooted fear of zombies. It's visceral.
