And in the next few weeks, look for the small screen of the Discovery networks to be re-saturated with doomsday-by-comet themed programming; all of which will require writers to devise ways of making astro science interesting to the masses while providing enough fear to draw them in.

Too funny, I read that very same article this morning and had the exact thought ... what a movie!

Smart minds think alike. When I read that, I definitely felt like I was reading a movie description. It could make a great movie, but is more than a little disturbing in real life.

I tried to watch. Not necessicarily bad, but they're written like they're straight out of the 80's.
