Almost through! Posts like these always inspire me. The M. Night comment from an earlier post was especially inspiring. that he didn't get the idea to have Bruce Willis dead in the movie Sixth Sense until the 8th draft.

Whatever they are paying this guy to provide hope and encouragement, via this blog for the writer psycho-therapy is not enough.

Perhaps we need a pay-pal virtual tip jar we can toss a couple coins into whenever our hopes are invariably lifted.

Peter: thanks for bringing M. Night Shyamalan. GREAT example of finding that magic point that really can make a story memorable later in the editing process.

Scott: Howabout a screenplay's 1st draft that's come in over 280 pages. Any way through dat?! AND to make matters worse Final Draft locked-up on me this morning AFTER 3 hours or so of some MASSIVE edits. Had auto save off, so guess what? Three hours of hard work went out the window or wherever lost data goes...

BUT yours truely is bust-ass worker. Re-opened that window, and now I'm ALMOAST back where I was earlier. Hopeully I'm getting a killer movie out of this too. So step aside M. Night Shyamalan you're about to have some competition!

This is the first post I have read on this blog and I am overwhelmed at how helpful it was to read. I had to subscribe on my RSS Reader. It's 12.37am and im scouring the net for advice and I have finally found it! I can now sleep and dream of what tomorrow's attempts at reinstating my script will be like!
