The writers have cleverly set up an interesting relationship dynamic between Donnie and Bianca that may pay off in sequels. Bianca is a contemporary woman. She has her own dreams and career goals and she isn't likely to give that up. She is her own woman and can stand up for herself. If the relationship holds, and I believe it will, this might interfere with Donnie's goals in the future and cause conflict. Bianca has set the bar high for their relationship. She values the truth. As we've seen, Bianca doesn't like it if someone holds things back from her. Donnie didn't tell her that his 'uncle' is Rocky and his father was Apollo Creed. She forgives him, but we see that they start their new relationship with a shallow tiny crack. This is a smart set up for sequels. Hide the truth from your beloved one who values the truth and you have a rich ground for conflict.
