I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It was truly a unique telling of, what I saw as, a simple theme. Kudos to the writers!

What's that? BECKETT: That's a cactus. MOM: That's a cactus, that's right. And what is the plural of cactus, huh? BECKETT: Cacti. MOM: That's right! What is that, what is that? BECKETT: Baby. MOM: That's right, that's a baby. This lady is about to have a baby. Any day now. VERONA: Or in three months, thank you. MOM: Beckett, hey, tell the nice lady what you know about babies. Go on, tell the nice people what... Beckett, you're being rude. BECKETT: Babies like to breathe, and they're good at hiding it. I put a pillow over a baby. I thought she wasn't breathing, but she was. She was sneaky, but I'll try again. Dialogue on Dialogue: Kids say the darndest things, don’t they? This scene always cracks me up because attempted murder is the last thing the anyone expects this overindulged little kid to reveal. (It also doesn’t help Verona and Burt as they struggle with impending parenthood.)
