I'm still working at my slow pace which is fine with me. I'm more about making sure in this rewrite that every thing is laying out like I envision it.

Audrey, there's no right or wrong when it comes to rewriting pace. The 31 day challenge aspect is simply a motivational tool. The point is make progress. Besides it's more than likely you, I, all of us will end up doing more revisions. It's not uncommon for me to do 10 drafts before I feel the script is ready. So keep doing what you're doing. It's all good!

Today's batch of creative juju!

Just a few minutes ago, while I was reading my script, an idea popped up in my mind. A gigantic "what if". And it's an awesome "what if", one of those who make you shout "Eureka!" I'll probably have to rewrite the last half of my pilot, but this change will improve the whole script. Well, that's what I hope. :)

I had a fairly productive night last night. A new outline is coming together. I'm hoping to rewrite soon but I know I need to figure a little more out before I can. I think the best thing that has been happening to me through these processes is I'm finding what works for me. I have to have a certain amount figured out in advance. But I have also learned you figure out way more actually writing. So it's about finding the balance between the two and trusting that. I'm sure it can differ from project to project and I'm sure it will never be 100% clear always, but I am grateful to feel some confidence in my process at this particular time.
