Hey, Scott, I've just heard a wonderful piece of dialog.
It's an exchange between Ted & Alice in Paul Mazursky's "Bob&Carol&Ted&Alice" (1969), starring Natalie Wood, Robert Culp, Elliott Gould and Dyan Cannon.
Ted and Alice are back from a pot party they had in Bob and Carol's house, in which, by the way Alice did not smoke. They're in their bedroom. Ted wants to have sex, Alice just hates the very idea of it, more she's sick about some revelation of Carol.
I think the scene is about 5/7 minutes long, and it is all about Ted wanting sex / Alice hating it. It's an incredible scene, you will laugh at seeing it. It starts with a few hints about the argument, then it builds through reciprocal reproaches, until it explodes in Alice's final decision to submit. It's not over, yet, for something else happens.
Go look at the scene. It's fantastic. I believe this one movie could have jump started both Allen's and Kasdan's careers.
