I'm hoping to go. I can't go to every event I'd like, unfortunately, but this year I have specified the AFF and the Expo as the events I really want to attend.

I have a screenplay entered in the competition so if it does well, hell yeah, I'm going. I've heard very good things about it.

Hands down, best screenwriting conference there is. People are laid back and you get to chit-chat with some great screenwriters and filmmakers, all of whom want to be there and are more than happy to chat.

Just to let you all know there are still great savings to be had in purchasing your badges for the festival. My suggestion is buy them now at a discounted rate since they'll increase in September.

But yes, no disagreements in that AFF is a premiere conference and the place to be come October.
