That really was a great article -- especially the bit about controlling information.

I'm currently writing a scifi horror with a double rugpull. Audacious to be sure, and heavily dependent on how I manage who knows what when, including the audience. Give away or hold back the wrong piece of the puzzle at any given moment, and the architecture crumbles.

I also agree with the point about writing movies, not screenplays. If you can write the movie you see constantly playing in your head, then I think you're on the right path.
