Scott, congratulations! I didn't participate because I was already taking part in another writing challenge. Would you consider organizing a zero draft event in May, after the 'a story idea each day' month has taken place? That way, we could seize upon the momentum and play with the fresh ideas.

Shari, I like your thinking, however a couple of things. May could work, but it runs into Memorial Day weekend and the beginning of summer. Also it would likely work best if writers had more than a few weeks to prep a story before heading into a ZD30 challenge. I have been giving some thought to expanding the April story idea each day for a month series into a challenge for participating writers to come up with a story idea of their own. Every day. For 30 days. Not sure how much interest there would be in that, but it puts a spotlight on how important a story concept is to the commercial viability of a spec script. Everything is still fluid on all fronts relative to ZD30. I appreciate any and all feedback.
