I'm in! I have my comedy outline done, so I am ready to start draft one. Let's go!

So it's after midnight here on the East Coast which means those of us here and to the East (I'm looking at you Europe!), it is game on for Zero Draft Thirty! I've got some more plotting to for the middle of the story, so I'm diving into that tonight. But for kicks, I may take a whack at a scene I *know* will be in the movie. Get a taste of some page-writing. How about you? Where are you in the process? And to give everybody a jolt, here's a blast of creative juju for the entire ZDT gang!

I'm in for my first participation to a worldwide screenwriting challenge. A huge thanks for the calendars to their creators. I reckon it was the catalyst that made me decide to be part of the adventure, and thanks of course to Scott and his brilliant ideas. Can't wait to get to type "Fade in", win Trumbos and finally type "Fade out". Good luck to you all. Banzai!

I plan on getting a jump on this challenge by writing 3 cards today, which me luck. Good luck to the rest of you writers out there.

Good morning, fellow ZDTers. Just put a pot of tea on. My creative juice of choice is hot tea. What's your must have drink/ritual to get in 'the zone'?

Blood. Sweat. Words. Those are the essentials to writing. And Cheetos... sparkling water... bungee cords... Goodyear blimp... or maybe that's just me?

I pledge to produce a comprehensive TV SERIES bible and he rewrite the pilot --- bringing into the clam-free zone. This bible is brutal. Today AM I've written a new Sc. and gathered my brainstorms from the last 5 years on this concept. I trust I'll do a character worksheet for supporting characters which may be too stock.

It's show time, folks.

I've written and produced 4 original scripts, but diving into a new genre (comedy). So this commitment is just the thing I needed!

You are right Jayski, the neverending stream of new trailers. One day our trailers will be between them ;).

Wrote first page of first draft today of my supernatural thriller, on my Iphone, in the tram back from work. This dedication only works because ZD30 is there for me. Sitting down for day 2, day one went OK and that's just fine with me, 30 OK days of writing one after the other and I'll be well happy!

Initial burst of inspiration - outline, list of scenes, fleshing out to about 40 pages. Then a few days off, too busy. Tonight 5 more pages. Some characters have started doing things that solve plot problems - and some new plot problems have arisen :) Fun.
