That's interesting, I find a thesaurus useful as well, especially to avoid having every character *run*, *walk*, *look*, and *smile* while being described as *beautiful* if female and *good-looking* if male.

I also like his larger point on how every piece of advice in screenwriting has kind of an evil twin, as with exposition writing: too little and you confuse the audience, too much and you bore them...

I'm glad to find out that my writing process isn't a whole lot different than Walter Hill's. I have my Blackberry instead of a Thesaurus, but Thesaurus.com and Wikipedia are my most used sites.
