Hossein Amini, love this guy! A screenwriter we can all learn something from. And DRIVE is a mini movie-making class in itself - the comparison of script to screen is a testament to Refn's talent of translating the written word into cinematic storytelling.

Commented a little too fast - it was the enthusiasm speaking... I love both Jude and Wings of a Dove, the books. And Amini did an amazing job adapting them, I think. I've adapted a novel of my own into script form just to try it out and can attest to the difficulties of keeping the heart of the story while sometimes having to change things drastically, such as characters or even whole parts. And he's good! I could listen to this guy talk for hours while working :) (same with Alan Ball)
