Niki Finke currently has a great piece on the spec sale/development process for THE HANGOVER script up on her blog, Scott.

Would make for an excellent follow up to your post here -- so my fyi - if you haven't already been there/read that.

Also, good call on your pick for Hangover topping LOTL -- I have to admit, I wasn't so sure... Kinda thought Will's star woulda trumped... Alas, you had the pulse man.

Hats off.

Gotta love the Pixar for taking story seriously, and for continually taking risks -- among their last few offerings we've seen an animated film with a cranky old guy as the main character, a boxy robot who doesn't talk (with a cockroach as a best friend), and a sewer rat with cooking aspirations.

Pixar films are so solid in their structures and characterizations they should be case studies for all serious filmmakers!
