Well I'm IN too. Some of my friends have made the Iron Man challenges - a really really crazy trial where they swim, run and go with the bike for more than 6 hours. This is exactly the kind of crazy challenge that I want to make with the Zero Draft Thirty. But in my laptop, writing instead of running. And no bike, please. I'm gonna make it the "hard way", or the "Iron Writer" way(... see, I'm creative!). This is: begin with NOTHING (Day 1 I'll decide what story will I write) and finish day 30 with the first draft. Actually I've made my own calendar, if some crazy-head wants to go the same way, he is invited: Week 1: Brainstorming & Outline - Day 1: Decide the project I'm gonna write (that's, yes, the premise of the story). - Day 2: Brainstorming one or two main themes I'm gonna talk about + main characters and the relationship with the theme. - Day 3: Major plots & structure - Day 4 - 7 : Outline the script Week 2-4: Writing First Draft - Day 8 - 30: Try to not fall down and cry like a baby. Yes. It is crazy. And I don't care the big piece of topical shit is gonna be the screenplay, I'm gonna have a screenplay by December 1th. That's the meaning of all this: I don't wanna be number 1 at the Iron Man competition. Maybe I'm the last and I finish with no air, but the smile in my face is gonna be brighter than any winner. So.. Just 1 week to go!!! As we say in my land: "Que Dios nos pille confesaos".

Carlos, looks like a solid approach. Like your attitude! We are all supporting each other. Goal: Get to the finish line no matter how tattered our pages may be. Onward!

In my part of the world we would say... "Ya estarķa de Dios". In any case, this challenge is going to be good.
