When I was 16 years old, I wagged school for a day, watched it three times in a row. It totally changed the way I saw film. Love it.

I can still remember seeing GWTW in the theater for the first time. Just the sheer scope of it! Remember that shot where the camera pulls back revealing that street filled with wounded and dying soldiers. Had to be hundreds of actors and extras in that shot.

There were at least four uncredited writers on the GWTW script: Oliver H.P. Garrett, Ben Hecht, Jo Swerling, and John Van Druten.
