The Walking Dead: When Morgan reappears after Rick shoots Pete during Arlington's inquisition. One hell of a way to end the season and make people salivate for the next!

The Leftovers - "The Garveys At Their Best" I thought it was an amazing idea to hold off the flashback before the Departure until the penultimate episode. It created a strong emotional impact to see all the characters before the event long after we had identified with them in the "present." The episode could easily have been the pilot but that structural decision made it one of my favorite moments over the past year. P.S. I went to Sublime Primetime last year and really enjoyed it!

The Simpsons -"Bull-E" At the end of a fantastic episode about bullying, Homer finally repents by kneeling outside Flander's house. There is a beautiful time lapse scene where Homer's family makes visits to help sustain him while the days/nights pass and he seeps into the ground. Flanders eventually comes outside and forgives him while their family's join to eat brunch.

Silicon Valley - Two Days of The Condor The final sequence, when they're about to destroy everything they've built at Pied Piper and Richard can't contact anyone because his cell phone is out of battery, his email goes to Spam, etc. It was like a scene out of an action-thriller movie, but in a sitcom.

Sense8: Riley watches her father's orchestra performance in Iceland. The tune evokes memories of each of the sensate's births. Total tear jerker!

UnReal: The season finale. After the Everlasting wedding in London, when Rachel and Quinn say I love you to each other. Such a complex, riveting relationship those two have.

Show Me a Hero: the final montage. A surprising, quietly devastating, highly emotional yet almost journalistic objectivity that surprises you in the fascinatingly non-linear yet thematically artful way it wraps up the entire series: the "third meaning" good writing and editing create for the viewer.

Game of Thrones - HAS to be the red wedding. Harrowingly brilliant and totally surprising. Wonderously Horrific!! Almost every character that you love killed in one fell swoop... takes real courage to write that.

Enjoying the entire run of Sense8 and then watching the behind-the-scenes documentary. It was incredible to get a glimpse of the planning, imagination, and practical effects that went into creating such a high-concept show! I loved every minute.

Mad Men - the 2nd to last episode when Roger and Peggy are the last two in the Sterling Cooper & Partners offices. Roger begins to play an organ and Peggy laces up a pair of skates and circles the empty office. What a way to say goodbye to Sterling Cooper.

I loved watching a new FX show by Simon Rich - Man Seeking Woman - because there's nothing else like it on TV right now. The show is a surreal anti-rom-com about the life or death stakes of modern dating. In the pilot episode, the main character played by Jay Baruchel goes to a party at his ex-girlfriend's apartment, thinking they're going to get back together, only to find she's now dating Hitler. Yes, the actual Hitler who didn't really die but went to Argentina and hid for the last 70 years. And everybody at the party loves him. Our hero seems to be the only one who can't get over the fact that this man killed a lot of people. Every single line Bill Hader (who disappears in makeup while playing the one hundred something Hitler) utters is brilliant.
