GREAT site. I feel guilty when I don't read it - LOL. :D

"What are you afraid of?" is probably one best bytes ever from a screenwriter.

Lemme echo what Mike so cordially said, "Happy birthday. You and your site are appreciated -- even up here in Bonney Lake, WA!

Best writing advice I ever got from a professional writer came from William Goldman. The ole tride and true, "Enter a scene as LATE as you can." It's become part of my lexicon. Something I now do without even having to think about it.
I find Robert Towne's advice, "Find out what your characters are afraid of" a little to trite to be of practacle use. SOME people and characters may be ruled by their fears, but their's a lot more to it than that.

Congrats on your first year.

Could I make a small suggestion? Perhaps a "recent posts" section on the side bar, with the post titles? Would help in finding older posts, as the monthly index is a bit cumbersome to go through.

David, thanks for that suggestion. I'll try to figure that out ASAP.
