On the subject of dead moms, I used to be a children's librarian and in almost every novel written for children and teenagers the main characters do not have two living parents. If by some miracle they do, they are most certainly not living together. If there was some alien race out there trying to analyze our society based upon our movies and literature they would get a very warped view of the way things are.

Dear Hollywood Movie Decision Makers:

Take a chance on a new story once in a while. I understand you have to keep up with the joneses, but how many times can a franchise be "rebooted" before we start to hate boots?
