Great stuff - as soon as I saw the post title, I knew it was going to be this scene!

I like the scene quite a bit after it gets rolling but the co-pilot’s dialog seems awfully on the nose and heavy handed. I can see him coming out to tell everyone that the flight’s going to get rough but when he just blurts out -

“If there's anything you
want to say to each other, any
secrets, anything like that, now
would be a good time.”

That just seems a little much to me. Maybe if someone had weaseled the information out of him that “we’re all gonna die” it might have sounded a little better. Then let the band members start spilling their guts to each other on their own without prompting from a stranger.

Holy crap, this is a dynamic scene... This is as good as it gets, up the ante, raise the stakes... dialogue revealing character... A pulse that pushes the scene...

I haven't read this script, but this is as good as it gets in my opinion.

Although, Possum, I think you're right -- everything else is solid, but the co-pilot saying "admit your secrets" is a tad bit on the nose... That just should have been a natural reaction to the threat at hand. Other than that, very solid scene.
