Warner Brothers has the two movies I'm looking forward to the most: "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past" and "Terminator: Salvation."

Overall I think Paramount has the stongest summer line-up. "Star Trek" one month, Transformers the next, then top that off with "GI Joe." I tip my hat to their pacing. They SHOULD have people going to see their offerings all summer long. Good job Paramount!

Like any summer, each studio seems to have its share of potential barnburners and stinkburgers, which, I imagine, cancel each other out and keep them all at break even???

Either way, UP is the one that's got me most stoked and salivating. Pixar has done no wrong and, as I've probably stated before in these pages, is the last bastian of any real creativity domestic cinema has to offer.

Oh and there's that little Star Trek thingy that kinda' gets me heart a-flutterin'... hoping for the best there...

Jeff, I'm always excited to see any Pixar movie because they are so great with story (and of course, their animation). However there are more than a few voices whispering that it could underachieve. Witness this NY Times article from earlier in the month. In fact, I think I'll go ahead and post something about Up to get GITS readers' opinions / expectations.
