Absolutely loved The Bridge. Thought is was original both in atmosphere and in setting(physical & social). Excellent!

I loved Northern Exposure, especially the first two seasons. Some episodes were absolutely brilliant at interweaving several storylines around one theme, then bringing them all together. Thanks for noting that series!
