If you need a push to get something done, SF is a good thing...but it could so easily end up being a mistake. You rush and stumble and end up churning out a piece of crap that hurts your career.
I need a Script Frenzy that lasts three months. One month is too short to do the research, the structure, the character outline, the plot outline, putting Post Its on my walls AND teaching 6 periods...three months and coffee and cigarettes, whoops, cigars!
I am working on a thriller about a girl in love with a painting. I've been fooling around with it for about a year. I've got 4 scenes written and I'm almost done polishing the outline.
If I got serious, I think I could be done with it AND get my TV rewrite done by...
June 30th.
So, Scott Myers, YOU are my witness. I'll have a solid draft of 'Lydia' by June 30th. If I don't...!
Scott, what do you suggest as the stakes? I already owe you a lobster.
