Your significant other has always had a suspicion of the affair and knows you were in the other city at the time of the murder. Written from either the adulterer's POV or the significant other's POV.

Tonight you're driving home when a car filled with gang bangers aggressively pulls up to you, guns waving. You see the guy you bought the car from in the back seat, tied up and beaten to hell.

You're with your family when you jokingly ask as your first question, "Will dad die soon?" The Magic 8 Ball says, It is decidedly so. Your father (who's in another room) immediately has a heart attack and dies.

A scene where a couple breaks up in front of the priest during a pre-wedding class. A scene where a character tells a painful lie to a child, who promptly calls the character on it. A scene where a character faces a tough interview with a reporter they have a secret relationship with. A scene in a confessional where the priest makes the confession. A scene where an audio recording plays a part.

Hi Scott. Not posted for a while, just been lurking really, but have enjoyed the previous challenges - even just reading them if I haven't had a chance to submit! I think it was done before, but writing a scene without any dialogue is always a good challenge... Two characters, who speak different languages, trying to escape from "peril" A scene between two people who know they are shortly going to die. An executioner and his executionee (if that is a word) A door-to-door sales(wo)man trying to sell something the buyer clearly knows is complete rubbish. Just a few ideas - looking forward to the series!
