Cannes. I can't afford to go to any of them so I might as well fantasize about the expensive, glamorous one.

I'm not really sure what would be my first choice - other than any festival that might be screening something I wrote (someday!).

In the meantime, with CineVegas in my backyard, I can't afford not to at least volunteer!

Tom, how is CineVegas? It's about 10 years old, right? I would bet it's not hard at all to get talent to show up for it; after all, it is Las Vegas.

CineVegas is fun. You're right about the talent showing up - some just for a particular party. Beleive it or not, it's only six years old. I think that when it began to be hosted at the Palms (ownd by the Maloof brothers) that's when it really took off. The best venues are at the Palms, but almost every threater in town gets something to screen. Since it's a more "mature" festival with more serious filmakers, it's getting much harder to pick up any volunteer time.
